I think the Madden curse was more about player injuries than anything else. Anyway, if it wasn't before, that thing has definitely been put to rest with the full season Albert Pujols had with the Cards in '04.

As far as bad covers go, that's definately one. Granted, it's no "TO with the fast break layup" from last year's ESPN cover, but it's pretty poor all around. That ridiculous empty stadium in the background along with the horrible logo add up to something special. Special in the "Rosie O'Donnell in that CBS movie" kind of way.
