Wow at the Tamogactchi game for Wii flopoing. And also wow at No more Heroes making the flop list. But how can a "Girl Calling" game fail in Japan?

They did. And it's unlikely that they made this decision without the knowledge that at least one solid title like Innocence would be needed to dig the series' reputation out of the hole that Tempest dug.

Hence the 'testing the water' initial first week stock of 150,000 units (unless that was what retailers ordered, being wary of the last game, actually).
