It seems also like legacy third-party games suffered more than Nintendo from the injection of new successful software.

I've bet 100k for New Love Plus and I was right. Great spike for 3DS. I'm quite surprised actually.

After Soul Calibur V, Tekken now is tanking really hard. Fighting games haven't luck in Japan recently.

Wow at that number for Tekken. Yikes. That series isn't suppose to be popular in Japan right? Even with that, is that extremely low for a debut for that series?

Why does the Vita keep losing sales :/

Surely there will be some kind of increase soon, right guys? Right?

Also dat Love Plus, 3DS sales bump, and Tekken bomba.

Also GPD sold more on the 3DS than PSV, though in this case it'll be good to check on the PSV digital sales (the ratings anyways, to see maybe some kind of number because they don't publish those).

I wonder about Theatrhythm sales only because there were reports of lower supplies, so I wonder if there's any truth to it.

GPD has a combined first week of 15,845 (Media Create). Add a few PSN sales and we have an almost identical opening.

Is it safe to assume that Theatrhythm will have strong legs because of it being sold out everywhere? Anybody know if they already got a new shipment out to stores?

I really hope it does well, and would love for its success to lead to a Nintendo version. And of course a NA localization for this would be really appreciated, but I'm not to worried about that because I would be seriously surprised if it didn't make it over here.

Have to say I was expecting more from it as well, surprised at those numbers. Hope it does alright in the long run as I have a lot of interest in it personally as it's a type of game I've been wanting for years now.

Edit: Whoa so many posts explaining this popped up while I typed mine! I hope this supply strain stuff is the case, game looks great and I want it to do well.

If that 67K number is because of shortages it does not magically make the number good. What it does mean is that it has a good chance to let those numbers improve if they can get the second shipment out in a timely fashion.

So, has Nintendo has improved on their cart production methods from the last generation?

There isn't really any point to buying a ds these days, the games will play on the 3ds and the price is similar, whereas the ps2 has thousands of games that can only be played on it

And the system that DOES have it, isn't region free. Fuck console gaming.

- Dating simulations still rock
- Dat three-headed 3DS software monster (3D Land, Mario Kart 7, MH3G)
- Binary Domain did very good
- Don't know what to think about Theatrhythm Final Fantasy
