They both hold up really well equally imo. Comes down to personal preference I guess in the end.
Like MGS2>MGS3.
Maybe I think that way because I finished 3 countless times on PS2 and 2 only once.

That's understandable. Even I think that 3 is the more fun to play game out of the two. 2 takes a while to pay off for the annoying moments and 3's paced better.

I forgot to mention one thing.
I wasn't so hyped about MGS back then. I've played MGS for weeks. On a PC (Yeah, I was a PC guy back then) and was never thinking about a sequel.
Then I bought a PS2 to play San Andreas and bought "some MGS" soon and it was 3.
The disc was never leaving my PS2 reader for a half a year and then I bought MGS2 and wasn't so overwhelmed.
MGS2 looks slick though.
But we're the "toxic" ones. *rolls eyes*

PS2 in general is pretty much the best console ever, especially when you consider that it had PS1 backwards compatibility right out of the box on day 1.
It had a bunch of shovelware, the failure rate when it launched was high with respect to disc read errors, and the image quality was not nearly as good as Gamecube or XBOX (see PS2 versions of Resident Evil 4 and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory). And it was still the best console. That's how good it was.

Just finished MGS4 for the first time since about 2009 or so. Thinking about writing an RTTP.

Just got 100% completion my on EU PS+ version, so looks like I'm good to go, I'll probably re-do all missions on normal again the day before release extracting all PoWs and unique soldiers again simply out of paranoia..
My trophies are at 90% though..I recall there being no Platinum for Ground Zeroes..but surely it should still be 100%?

They all say completed and with a date, no "Hidden Trophy" either.
Please don't tell me it fucked up because I got most of them on my US version then the last couple on EU.

Is your trophy list showing two entries for GZ, because if it is, then you'll have to get the one you didn't do on your EU version. If not, then it's could just taking a while to update, something similar happened to me.
