When does this game unlock in EU? Don't tell me 10 AM PST =/
Going by the store page, it seem to be so unfortunately. It would be better if games unlocked in midnight, and time zone would be checked from peoples ip address.

This game will unlock in approximately 1 day and 6 hours
This was my reaction. I think MGR was the first 20GB+ game I've ever installed on steam and it took FOREVER. I definitely don't want to get used to this unless there is a massive increase in d/u speeds in general for US citizens.
Says for me - GMT+1

Yeah likewise.
Which is a bit of a shock not being dicked over until Friday like every other UK release.
You do get the rare games that unlock at midnight your timezone on a simultaneous worldwide release too. Watching Americans spam my messenger because I was playing from the UK midnight was quite fun.

Looks like it'll be Saturday the 11th at 5-6AM in Australia, though the Steam page says "Available 10 January 2014." I feel like Steam gets nearly every Australian release timer wrong.
The game unlocks in a little over a day, not two.

Holy hell, now that is one huge install. 25GB, I think this must be a record![]()
No, it's not. Anyway, I hope this increase in disc space requirements is about better textures rather than better FMV.Holy hell, now that is one huge install. 25GB, I think this must be a record![]()
Seeing how 2 hours of film in 1080p can be converted into a 6gb file and look abslutely stunning, I sure hope so.No, it's not. Anyway, I hope this increase in disc space requirements is about better textures rather than better FMV.
Thread title is wrong! I've been preparing all week for the game to be available to me when I wake up tomorrow morning but steam says 10th of Jan now and I'm in AUS so it might not be until Saturday. I don't want to wait two more freakin days!
Is it just me being thick, or is this still not showing in some areas? In Ireland here, and theres nothing on steam, and searching for metal gear just brings up the fucking rock smith page
Was listening to a podcast and they mentioned that Rising wasn't getting a pc release in Ireland and Japan...or something like that.

It's the PS3's FMVs, nothing more, nothing less.
I can't believe they haven't even released a single screenshot. You guys are buying this port entirely on faith. And faith on who, I wonder, since I doubt PG handled this port themselves.

I can't even look at the steam store page for it why is that? I'm in Ireland
But yet I've seen people say they have it pre-loaded already?
Ireland was accidentally added to the regions that couldn't see/purchase the game. It was supposedly taken care of yesterday but yourself and a friend of mine from the isle say the page is still not visible.
Yeah I just searched and it's fucking Ireland alone that this happened to? lol god dammit
But yeah still not fixed. I can't even see it on any other game based sites that sell it either
I wouldn't worry, when was the last bad port that Durante did not fix? ;-)The port IS handled by Platinum themselves. Both JP Kellams and the Konami dude said it.
I find the lack of PC screenshots strange too.
Oh well, disappointing. It's the PS3's FMVs, nothing more, nothing less.

You are a bit late with your answer. Then you're going to be disappointed - it's the FMVs.
Personally, the only one that irks me is full longplays devoid of commentary or added additional content. At least be creative!
Game looks and plays fine though. Not top tier port like DmC but still good enough.I can't believe they haven't even released a single screenshot. You guys are buying this port entirely on faith. And faith on who, I wonder, since I doubt PG handled this port themselves.
I just installed the game. For some reason my PS4 controller isn't working in the game at all. I even tested it in some other games and checked the controller settings for my PC.
