Hype as fuck, I had a massive smile on my face watching that. Didn't think it was so far out but let them take their time.
 
Oh wow, that's farther than I expected. And to think we were all thinking this was going to be a 2024 release
 
Looks like a 1:1 remake, huh? One of my favorite games ever so I can't really complain about that, but I'm holding out hope they'll change up The Fear's boss fight. The character had some good potential but probably ended up with the worst boss fight in the franchise, other than the B&B unit fights.

The Boss's voice acting is also kind of... terrible?

Still hyped though.
 
Will this release on PC at the same time?

I'm finding harder and harder to justify playing games on my PS5.

Looks incredible. Day one. So happy to have modern remakes of both of my favorite games in college now (the other was RE4).

I agree- feels, i dunno - overdone, alittle extra?
Have two teenage boys im trying to introduce to MGS since its my fav series and its the first thing they pointed out. lol Other than that somewhat picky observation on this end everything looks incredible.

This looks fucking amazing, but it sucks that it's so far away. I feel like every time we see something new it looks better and better especially the character models. Reminds me of how SH2R looked better and better every time, and with how it turned out that's a good thing.

The only thing that I don't think I care for is how contrasty it looks but it's not a big deal.

I know people don't like remakes but I would love to see Konami remake more of their games as a half step to getting back into dev full time. Konami was home to some of my favorite games of all time.

Idk when the last time you played a MGS game was, but it's always been "extra" lol.
 
Konami was one of my favorite developers for my entire life. yes, they had some weird shit going on for some years but now it looks like they are back

This has new gameplay features so its not really a 1:1 remake. They do give option to use the old gameplay but it won't be the default way.

I don't see any problem with my previous post. I just stated something that I'm currently feeling, as someone who upgraded his PC and barely touched his PS5 in the past few months.

If Sony offered a better proposition value with the PRO, maybe I would say something different.

It's one of the things that I love about it and why it's my favorite MGS game and one of my favorite games of all time.

It's both a more grounded game, and even wackier than previous entries. Yeah it doesn't have a fat dude on roller blades, but it has a dude surrounded by bees, and a fucking ghost lol.

Absolutely phenomenal game with some of the best characters, best music, and best story (I personally like that the story doesn't reach KH levels of complexity) in the series.

Fuck, I love this game so much.

I guess it's just that we get a lot of the drive by PCMR/inverse posts around here and a lot of times they quickly go downhill so that's how it came across I guess.
