This thread got me thinking about Fusion's level layout. That got me thinking about Echoes' level layout and how it's similiar to Fusion. One top area then branched out into lower areas. I kind of prefer Prime, ZMs and Super's twisting and interwoven world layout. I know Echoes' warps and layout sort of make getting from one area to the other quicker, but there is just a quality of game design that is so brilliant in making a world that flows within itself. Super is held extremely high on many people's pedestals, though. Some too high.
