Looks interesting. Will definitely give it a watch.

Of course the reason why psychedelics aren't properly researched or explored as a means to help with mental health disorder is that they actually might work... and that's the last thing pharmaceutical companies want.

Something that actually cures a condition that they make billions off every year by selling anti-depressants like they're fucking sweeties?

For shame!

What's next? Being honest with fat people about how to lose weight? Aaaaargh! Think of the lost profits!

People should also be aware to never try that alone. My worst anxiety attack of my life was when I smoked a strong bud alone. Psychedelics are insane though.
Absolutely true. Perhaps once you have an experience a few times, it'd be okay to do it alone. But always have some watch over you

As someone who has crippling anxiety at times and have dealt with depression for a large parts of my life...

I really wish I could try this out in a proper treatment type setting.

Fuck I hope this takes off. The proof is there. It works.

MDMA treatments will probably get FDA approval in the next few years. As for other treatments, Oregon has already legalized it. They're just basically formalizing guidelines right now. They should be going live in 2023 with their treatment centers

I'm scared of trying this and embarrasing myself in front of whoever is with me.

Or trying it alone and ending up gouging my eyes out or running naked through the streets.

Definitely have someone with you who won't judge you (or more importantly you don't feel you're being judged by). They can be there to assist you if you're troubled.

You won't be compelled to do anything weird while tripping. It's a very cerebral introverted high. You won't be compelled to do anything stupid that you normally wouldn't do. If anything you'll probably spend the entire time sitting there thinking

It's all dose dependent. No one is going crazy from taking half a tab of acid. And the stories you describe are from bath salts not psychedelics.

Acid and shrooms helped me out, I think.

The last time I did acid I did a bunch and it was awesome. I had only ever done one tab at a time but that day I was in a good mood and I was like FUCK IT. Anyway I came back from that and no brain damage. Not even any revelations. Just a incredible day. It's a benign drug and yes I think a lot more people should try it.

I think there is a lot of things that shrooms do, and a lot of things they don't do (like open portals to alternate realities).

They're good at "shaking the snow globe" so to speak. Breaking up repetitive behaviors and introducing chaos. I also do think that they allow us to see the world a different way. How humans perceive the world is now how the world actually is, and shrooms can provide us the ability to experience and understand that we do not live in an objective reality.
