Nissan North America Inc. (NNA) and Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT - News) have merged automobile design and gaming technology to create the first-ever fully integrated gaming system within a vehicle. Conceived by Nissan Design America Inc. (NDA) and equipped with the Xbox 360(TM) next-generation video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Nissan URGE concept car allows drivers (while parked) to play "Project Gotham Racing® 3" using the car's own steering wheel, gas pedal and brake pedal while viewing the game on a flip-down seven-inch LCD screen. "PGR® 3" is developed exclusively for Xbox 360 by Bizarre Creations Ltd. for Microsoft Game Studios.

The screen doubles as the car's rear-view mirror.

I've seen something much nicer in a recent issue of Stuff/Maxim. Sick catr with a screen attatched to the inside of the hood. Could use the stearing wheel and pedals as well. Also had 2 screens in the back.

ummmm ... that is absolutely terrible for the tires ... and if overdone, would cause the type of uneven ware that can create a full blowout (ie. tire ripping off the rim).

Brilliant!!!!!!11!

It's a concept. It isn't going anywhere, if it even has a full powertrain. Concepts are worth too much to be driven in most cases.

The Nissan Urge design is total rip off of the Smart Roadster.

Do the tires actually move?

Why is everyone assuming the tires will move while playing the X360? Seriously. You think they're so stupid not to have thought of that?
