Seems a bit strange to me. The problem MS are having is a lack of clarity and definitive answers about some key questions.

Edit: keep in mind that we don't know if it's being replaced by something else.

They couldn't arrive at a way to spin effectively, didn't want a repeat of their reveal.
Amirite.

Seriously though, they'd better be very clear in their press conference, about all this online DRM shit.

They need to have their PR in a much more controlled environment considering their epic PR blunder since the announcement.

Guess they're worried they will get more bad press. Probably were planning to talk about Sports and TV on the Xbox ONE again.

They don't want to talk about DRM. I highly highly highly doubt they would bring it up at their conference since it would be perceived as a negative for people watching.

MS execs on learning Nintendo was changing the E3 rules: "You mean we can do that? Cancel the roundtable. No good is going to come from people questioning the talking points."

Wait until Gamescom. They'll kill Sony and answer all questions then when final decisions have been made.

Please be excited.

"We will have more information to share about what our post e3 answers would have been in the coming months. Please be excited."

So no DRM answers official for months probably. Want those per orders to boost their numbers before they officially give the bad news.

Don't speak to anyone. Push the box out and cover your ears and shut your eyes.

Bold plan... Bold plan.

So what, they just go on not mentioning it? They can't really risk having random figureheads like Harrison talking shit they don't want people to know about. That's why the roundtable would have been ideal to clear up those details.

Funnily enough Nintendo is actually holding more events where press can talk with the devs and other people from the company.
