You are, indirectly, representing your employer and your opinions will be used against you (and that employer) if they're deemed improper or offensive.

I actually think this topic has been alright since a lot of the usual suspects that would have tried to come up with a way to defend this were already banned. It's about how it's very or close to extremely likely Microsoft is going always-online for their next console; from the recent rumor from yesterday (which sparked Adam Orth to "damage control" in the first place) to a comment from another dev about making sure to pay your ISP bills (it's in the OP iirc) to all the other rumors prior to all of this.
