5.5 Presentation
A much better, cleaner, more intuitive menu system to jump into games quickly, but the historical portions should have had more focus. Again.
7.0 Graphics
The images are as good as the original material. 100% accurate, more or less, but in terms of keeping up with what's current, some games haven't exactly aged well in looks.
5.0 Sound
The sound emulation isn't quite as good as the visuals, especially in the more taxing games like the MK series. Most of these golden oldies aren't exactly "sound system friendly" anyway.
8.5 Gameplay
22 games of varying quality...mostly good, though. You'll definitely find a few favorites here. There aren't any real cut-and-dry "duds" in this pack, though some are definitely better than others.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
There are tons of hours of gameplay in this sequel, moreso than last year since this package has games with significantly more depth. Lots of two-player titles, too.
7.9 OVERALL:
(out of 10 / not an average)

"The sequel to last year's Midway Arcade Treasures is definitely a much more beefy and satisfying compilation of arcade games. There are far more games in this package that will appeal to the current generation of videogamers, since most of the titles in the pack offer far more depth and replay value than the original collection. I'm nearly completely satisfied with the quality of emulation, apart from specific problems listed above, but I'm still a little bummed that the "historical" portion only has a basic focus in the sequel. As cool as it is to see the original "Making of" Mortal Kombat 3 from the Midway archives, it would have been nice to see some newly filmed material as a better retrospective. The crappy developer interviews are nearly impossible to watch.

It has its quirks, but overall the value alone of getting nearly two dozen arcade games for a 20 dollar bill is absolutely worth it...especially since many of these games have taken that much money out of my pockets in a single session each. It's a worthy follow-up to a decent series, leaving plenty more titles in the Midway library for another volume. Bring it on, guys. "
