Midway responsible for Stainless Steel closure?

Its would be interesting to see what kind of damage control Midway comes up with.

"PR NEWSWIRE -- In a statement released concerning Stainless Steel, Midway said, "We didn't think this was going to make any money so we cut our losses. We are a business, not a developers' charity. See: Microsoft. See: Psychonauts. Buzz off."

They also added, "GAF user Andrew2: STOP MAKING ****ING THREADS.""

I knew deep inside Midway were the responsible for this...

Shame on then. So if the game doen´t launch for chistmas season is not worth then... I thought that was a proved falacy already, but well.

It´s a shame some companies are still carried by moronic ideas like this one.

Publishers be damned, Steam or death for PC gaming, that it is for most the cases.

I wonder where all this talent will end up? Maybe a few will end up back with Ensemble?

Iron Lore's just down the road (well, an hour or so down a lot of roads), so they might hook up for a post-Ensemble party.

And cut off their noses, given that their whole stated intent for picking R&F up was to spearhead a serious PC push - getting cold feet now's a little bizarre. So much for Midway turning themselves around, I guess.

Risk doesn't pay the bills and neither does Mortal Kombat like it used to and people still haven't figured out it's complete crap for a fighter. Stiff, clunky, bad, DIE!

I was actually looking forward to the game, but now that its being released without the last crucial weeks of testing and QA combined with nobody to patch it after the fact means I'll skip this one.

As long as DOA is on the shelves, there's room for Mortal Kombat. :lol

But is there room for all of Midway on the back of Mortal Kombat, cause I don't think they have anything else that could concievably carry them.
