I don't keep up regularly with Fornite so I'm genuinely surprised they weren't featured before.

Transformers made it in already right? Feels like it would make sense due to that franchise already having third person shooters.

Edit: Also this might be a missed opportunity for secondary Gokaiger skins (since they had the guns)...

Fortnite skins can have alternative costumes, so maybe each of them will have multiple variants from different super sentai shows

it's nowadays basically turning into a Roblox competitor.

started as a coop 4 player tower defense game.

then battle royale launched and made it super popular.

then they slowly added other modes like team deathmatch.

then they added modes without building.

then they released a racing mode that's basically its own game.

and of course Lego Fortnite, which is also basically its own game, and is a survival Minecraft-esque title.

and with those last few modes they also released Unreal Engine Fornite edition, which basically lets you make entirely new games inside of Fortnite, with a slightly simplified version of Unreal Engine.

the most recent new "game inside the game" is Search and Destroy. which is a first person Counter Strike-like.

...oh and Fallguys is also kinda in Fortnite now, but only in fan made modes, and the actual Fallguys is still its own separate game... no idea why. they even went so far as to make Fallguys versions of your Skins n stuff.


tldr: nowadays Fortnite is a consortium of different games that run on a modified Unreal Engine. some official games made by Epic (Battle Royale, Search and Destroy and Rocket Racing, which is made by the Rocket League devs), and thousands of different modes, maps, games etc. by the community.
