MiniPato PSP screenies at IGN

Tempy

don't ask me for codes
MiniPato PSP new screenshots at IGN. Seems very faithful to the MiniPato shorts which are based on the Patlabor anime franchise. The shorts were released in R1-land in the Patlabor WXIII DVD set, and not included in the single Patlabor WXIII DVD release.

Chances of the PSP game coming over to the west? I'm thinking "not a chance", but I'd like to be proven wrong about that. If not, it's import time.

Looks pretty interesting I like the artstyle like a mix of VJ and Paper Mario. Any movies of how this plays?

Too bad the PSP doesn't support PNG graphics alot of jaggies going on in those shots.

looks like a cool game nonetheless, I like the style too :)

Awesome! I'm one of those thata actually bought the WXIII ox set, and I looooooved minipato, I think the 3rd episode, with SV2's dark secret, is the best. Shinobu's narration is hilarious ^_^

The patlabor movies rocked.

They used to run that movie all the time when teletoon just came out. (that and ninja scroll)

is MiniPato the series coming out in the west? If not, are there any fansubs available? I have the patlabor TV series on DVD, and the three movies, but not this (even though it looked great)

Taken from the first post:

Though the Patlabor franchise consists of a long tv series, several OVA episodes, and 3 movies - MiniPato was only 3 episodes, each about 10 minutes long. It parodied the events and characters of the patlabor universe. The DVD even comes with a making-of, which reveals that cardboard figures on sticks were motion-captured.
