Maybe this is old news, but my friend at the commissioner's office just told me about an email he got involving a special edition of this year's game. It features a DVD with highlights of the World Series and allows you to recreate what happened in these games through the game.

While I didn't like this game as much as MVP, it is good to see that MLB and Take Two are actually doing something interesting with their deal.

Are you sure it's the same game and not a brand new baseball game? 2K Sports talked about putting out more than one baseball game a year when they signed that deal with MLB.

Not sure. Just know a DVD is packed in and there are a few new playmodes, not sure if these are on the DVD or a new version of the game.
