If UFC was smart they would have Sonnen/Silva 2 on fox and stack the fucking card with fights but show them this time. I bet fox and UFC could make a shit load of money on ad space.
But but but... the ppv buys!!!
Fuck off Dana! Listen to the Capn.

No shit? Im gonna have to keep tabs on that.Looks like there is a slight possibility you may now have Silva/Sonnen 2 as your main event when you go.. In that case, I recommend you buy tickets right when they go on sale because demand for that will be through the roof.
Uncle Dana don't care about growing the sport.
I know that. Damn shame too because that would bring in a huge amount of interest.
until they get away from the pay-per-view model, the sport will never be truly mainstream.
Until broadcast companies are willing to cough up the money to replace PPV revenue, it's never going to happen, just like boxing. 600,000 buys at $50 is $30 million. Broadcast companies are NEVER going to make that up in an event with ad revenue because the amount watching isn't near enough for that.
Well, if the fights were always free, you'd build up a larger audience than the 500K-1M PPV buyers.
Anyone got a clue of who this is about?
"A relatively large MMA site has their ZUFFA credentials revoked this month due to some tweets that were published in late March/early April."
Uncle Dana KGB in effect. Another thing where UFC wants to play with the big boys in sports, handle criticism or things you don't like people saying better.
Dana White has never been shy about expressing his feelings regarding the mixed martial arts press but this latest statement may be his most militant.
The UFCs lawyers have demanded a retraction from www.cagepotato.com regarding a post they made insinuating, albeit in a humorous fashion, that Dana White had bet on the outcome of UFC fights in the past.
The claim that Mr. White would financially wager on the outcome of a UFC event is outrageous in the extreme.
Indeed, in the verified complaint we are presently preparing for Mr. Whites signature upon his return from Abu Dhabi, Mr. White expressly states under oath that at no time in the history of his association with the UFC has he ever financially wagered on the outcome of a UFC event.
UFC Attorney Donald J. Campbell
Mr. Campbell further explained that under Nevada law a demand for retraction is the first required step in the filing of a lawsuit seeking punitive damages against a party that has maliciously published defamatory statements about another.
The screenshot below shows Exhibit A.
until they get away from the pay-per-view model, the sport will never be truly mainstream.
I do not remember this promo. I feel embarassed since I used to watch every single Thunder.behold my elite level looping
Dang, thought cagepotato already had their press privileges revoked for posting Arianny's nudie pics?

As seen on UFC.com.
@TheJasonMoles (CagePotato.com writer) - @DanaWhite Here is @CagePotatoMMA's retraction. http://www.cagepotato.com/retractio...cially-wagered-on-the-outcome-of-a-ufc-event/ We cool?
@DanaWhite - @TheJasonMoles not even close
@TheJasonMoles - @danawhite What must be done to resolve this professionally?
Looks like Uncle Dana will force these "MMA journalists" to act like professionals the hard way.
Here come the bleeding hearts to paint Dana as the big bad skewering a small website

Agreed. It seems like pretty typical satire for sports media, nothing overly harsh or out of line.It was satire, threatening lawsuits is a serious crybaby move.

Ohh Carcassone. I have that for 360 and iPad. So great.
AstroLad I will be conducting an MMA-GAF Carcassonne game tomorrow. Bring your meeples and get served, brah.
Got a 2 right when it came out. Hadn't used it much until about a month ago and now I'm getting back into it big time. Big time = a bunch of games of words with friends and draw something mixed with messing with garage band.
No one ever asks me to play iPad games...
I'm not going to have a ps3 after next week. I don't use it anymore so I am done.you can play real games with me on ps3
