Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, released on June 30, 2022, has sold over 10 million cumulative units globally.

Good, it deserves it; a brilliant expansion to a great game.
The two together are some of the most fun I've had with any game this gen.

The most fun I had with a Monster Hunter game. Well deserved.
Best monster hunter game, IMO. I went right back to it after spending around 50 hours in World and Wilds. I have spend more than 500 hours on Rise across Steam and PS platforms. The game looks decent and runs at a locked 60 fps on the Steam Deck at 10W TDP. Eagerly, awaiting the next MH from the Rise team, hopefully it is a day one multiplatform release as I would like to get it on PC. Fingers crossed for no stupid compulsory Rampage quests.

I do not get how World is so successful. It is a hideously ugly game (one of the worst implementation of bloom) that is a performance hog and it is missing some basic accessibility features that even GenU has (toggle aiming for bows and bowguns). Thankfully Wilds plays much better while also looking leagues ahead (on the PS5 atleast). I really love the gameplay of bow, lance and gunlance in Wilds. Lance and gunlance in Wilds are the best in the series. Bow would be better if we got dodgebolt. I hope we get many more monsters and biomes in Wilds as I am done with all the base game has to offer. I do not like the forced story stuff in Wilds, Rise with the minimal easily skippable forgettable story was the best.

Well earned. I played the hell out of this on Switch, loved every minute of it. Now I'm thinking of grabbing the Series X version on sale… Are people playing it on Xbox?

most disappointing MH for me, monsters that constantly run away and the MP options are just atrocious, horrendous even.
still a decent fun time and I should go and finish sunbreak one of these days.

I basically triple dipped on this.
Me too, I bought it on Switch for my son. Unlike doom or borderlands and other fps, I can easily tolerate 30 fps in MH. The biggest visual blemish in the game is the low distance threshold for half-rate animations. It is easily seen when playing on TV.

Lmao World looks ugly but the mess of flat dull textures in Rise aren't?
Fuck off, the enviroments and level of detail in World is the peak of the series. Even Wilds doesnt come close. Seriously nowhere looks as good as the Coral Hughlands or the Rotten Vale etc etc.
World still the king, and its all the Rise and portable fans that made Wilds such a letdown. Thanks to you we no longer have to actually hunt Monsters…Good job 💩
