Well, I tried the demo for one hour, and I didn't like it; it felt more like a Monster Hunter Wilds mod, and I couldn't bear the overexplanations every 2 steps.
I felt like they tried to make this an RPG entry series for people who are not accustomed to RPGs.
And when I was in the demo's main city, I noticed that the backgrounds were actually in 2D.

I have never played a Monster Hunter before, but I plan to keep my eye on this one.

This is a very different experience, a turn based JRPG series.

It would be like playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon as your first Yakuza game.

Not just Capcom, Atlus does the same thing. Once the game get close to release theyshow off every part of the game, heck with SMTV we had daily demon trailers.

Movies have been doing this for years and by the time the movie comes out, I feel like I've seen the entire thing lol

Capcom sent over a closer look at gameplay from Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, the third entry in the turn-based spinoff series that has you riding, nurturing and bonding with legendary monsters. I dont follow Monster hunter and never played any of them. what makes this different from something like monter hunter wilds for example ? 2 different games completetly ?

because from the trailer this looks like a story / adventure game with nice graphcis i might say.. while monster hunter wilds looks to me like... well u just go hunt monsters and comeback to base or something.
