Agreed. Violence isn't solving anything.

The Dokdo thing annoys me. It isn't theirs. It's a bunch of rocks that has been used as a midway point in that part of Asia. It doesn't "historically" belong to Korea or Japan, and as such Japan was within it's rights to claim it as theirs.

Or perhaps would be well within their rights if it weren't for the continuous Korean possession of it for the last 51 years. Japan definitely did possess it before that, but that was only because they were occupying the entire region. I do agree with you that it's a pretty silly dispute, though. I just mentioned it as an example of the kind of thing that seems more important to the people involved given Japan's track record and the attitudes of certain Japanese leaders.
