Will be interesting to see how they price it. 29.99?

I wish Microsoft had given up and gone the Steam route years ago. So many games could have been better without GFWL![]()
I don't know. Halo 1 felt so wrong on the PC. It was like playing Unreal Tournament on consoles. It just didn't feel right.
I've always wondered if Halo was a great console shooter or a great shooter in its own right. I guess now we will find out.
I'd buy it for around £15 ish, sure.
Besides Gears of War, are there any other major 360-exclusive IPs that aren't owned by Microsoft?
Not a "major" one, but I'd love to see Fable 2 on Pc. I felt dirty after I finished 3 last week, my god what a godawful piece of crap.
On the plus side, I'm sure plenty of Japanese games wouldn't have come to PC if it wasn't for GFWL, the Steamworks Japanese documentation apparently sucks and GFWL was/is more trusted over there.
Wait what? On Steam?Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition (Duke Nukem 3D+) Released

I would love Reach even more
And imagine if they add split-screen functionality, just like in the old Serious Sam games - mother of gooood

Search doesn't bring anything up and I haven't seen any news articles about it either.
Halo 3's by far the best game on that list.Halo 3's alright with me, but i'm even more excited about how much credibility this would give some of the other outlandish entries we saw on that list.

I wonder if Halo: CE will become Halo: CEA. Sabre3D is a multi-platform engine, so much of the heavy lifting is already out of the way, plus the game has a toggle to switch between the classic and updated graphics.
Holy shit. I've been hoping for a Halo release on Steam, but had never thought about that! I'd love to replay the game (I own the PC version, but I'm waiting for the possible Steam version to have native widescreen support and possible AA compatibility), but to get the Anniversary looks would be a fantastic addition!
Loo I know. My life and the games industry were so different then.Feels like longer.
Nope, Halo 3.Duke Nukem 3D man.
it will be windows 8 exclusive/windows store, you wait
Why would you have to pay for it? Even if it had GFWL they have not charged for that in years.I hope they release this without paid for multiplayer - I'll be all over it.
Better yet, release both!
That sounds a bit superfluous, since I'm pretty sure the Anniversary version of Halo is just the original game with a "current-gen particle effects, higher-polycount, and more detailed textures" mode you can switch on and off at will during gameplay. Maybe there are more differences when it comes to the multiplayer mode?
Unless you mean it'd be better from a pricing standpoint, since the Anniversary edition would probably mean the regular edition would be much cheaper in comparison.
Windows RT xbox, 30 fps lock, microtransactions, Origin exclusive confirmed. Anticipate the worst for good feels.Steamworks, please.
