the polyphony one definitely holds it's own against this one graphically. gameplay should be completely different though.

It looks great. It would look even more great if they would iron out some kinks, like make the trees look better, and have self-shadowing not look so jittery (you have to see the bigger 720p screens to see what I mean)

*edit* actually self shadowing only looks crappy on that one picture with single motorcycle, but self shadowing is a lot more obvious there than on other pics.

The screen captures for the PS2 have been fantastic (minus the latest crappy IGN captures - the vids do look great).

I'll agree that the PS2 won't come anywhere near close to it, but damn if the PS2 don't look good.

some of those shots look good, others not so much. I recall thinking this game looked no better then moto gp 3 on xbox when it was first shown off, the tracks still don't look any better to me but the bikes and riders definetly do. In motion with per pixel motion blur and all that happy graphical jazz it likely looks pretty stunning though.

I think comparing 360 replay shots vs. PS2 replay shots is fair. In this case, the PS2 shots Klee posted certainly look very similar in quality to the 360 ones.

That said, there's nothing like seeing the games in motion, and I'm sure the 360 title will have more bikes and more effects, higher resolution, etc., etc. to make it clearly superior from a visual standpoint.

Holy Shit. That is just amazing. Modeling, art direction, textures, lighting effects. Should put Xbox 1.5 talks to rest if it looks as nice in motion. I'm not fooled this time, though! Every time when a new console has a dry period, a MotoGP seems to come up and I buy it, only to remember that I fucking hate biking games.
