Alrighty... moving right along, now that all the MP3's are correctly tag(and it was as someone suggested pretty interesting seeing exactly what stuff I had), I've of course run in to the issue of normalization. Volume levels are just all over the place compared to each other.

Does any of the software that does volume normalization software work well? or am I just stuck with Mp3's all over the place?

Danke I've just been doing some reading and see that my MP3 player supports smart volume management, but according to creative's msg forums you'll definitely take a hit in battery life running it in that mode...

EDIT:

Is 89 a good default? Will it allow me to play them at a nice level, but then if I want to blast them while playing in my car will I be able to get a good "high" volume? Looking at the analysis done so far most of my mp3's average around 95db
