The ps3 is stunning. The XBOX 360 just seems to primitive in comparison.

In what respect? Microsoft looks to be doing a great job of using Live! and the Xbox's to truly function as a digital media/entertainment server. i didn't get the whole bit of how they're going to attract the VelocityGirls of the world, but including the simple card and puzzle games is a great start. So far, the Xbox 360 hardware features are impressing me far more than the games.

This low stream is ridiculous, rebuffering every five seconds. i'll pick this up tomorrow or whenever the recorded stream is posted.

No. You just get more (namely DVR functionality) from a Media Center. You'll be able to pull media files (at least audio and pics, I'd assume video also) from XP. Same thing with your MP3 player.

No, you have to buy a PC with Windows Media Center Edition. You record your programs on your PC and play it back with Windows Media Center Extender on the Xbox 360. You can already do this with the Xbox 1.
