I can see the points from the quests have gone up across the board; the 8 pack game pass monthly quest has gone up to 560 from 350 for me.

I wonder how many people engage with this reward system... i don't think is a lot people do, but those who engage with it must be squeezing the value out of it.

I build points naturally but never used them, but lot of people play the game and get free gamepass ultimate each month. Not worth the effort or time for me personally, rather just pay.

Microsoft Rewards has slowly been going downhill the past couple years. This will be the end of it for many people.

It went from "this is so good I can't believe they actually are doing this" to "this is so bad it's not worth my time" basically overnight a couple years ago. I don't bother with it anymore but I used to be hardcore into the dailies for several years and got years of "free" Gamepass because of it.

Yes, you have to use gift cards to buy it now, no direct redemption for GP codes.

Just got this today.

Starting in May 2026, we will be making updates to the Rewards program.

Here's what you need to know:

• We're announcing 3 new participation levels with a range of benefits that allow you to earn points in new ways: Member, Silver, and Gold.
• In order to accommodate these changes, the daily search point limit will update by level. They will update to Member (25), Silver (50), and Gold (100). There will be new opportunities to earn additional bonus points.

As we evaluate the program, we might make more changes to further the benefits of the program. There's no action required on your part.
