My hubcap popped off...

So I was really sleepy today and driving like an idiot. Anyway I turned into this parking lot and didn't notice the curb jutting outwards. Basically I turned in at too sharp an angle and my rear wheel pressed against the curb. It was nothing serious, but the forced caused my hubcap to just pop off ('98 Corolla). The hubcap and rim seem fine, no damage or anything, just does anyone know how to put it back on (i.e. ever had to do this before?). I'll probably just bring it into a shop tomorrow for 5 minutes. I just don't want to try and put it on myself in case I'm doing it wrong and break something.

While it's hard to top the first reply, I'll try to add some more info:

You first look for the hole where the tire filler valve goes, and you line that up over the valve.

The tricky part about getting a tight wheel cover back on is that it wants to pop off on one side as you push the other side in. So you need to be pushing in on one side while holding the other side. I've found the best way to do this is to sit on the ground and use both feet. Or you can squat and use one knee to push while you press (or pound) with your hands.

Yea, like the others have mentioned, just keep thrusting until it goes in. Don't do it too fast though, don't want wanna scratch or god forbid pop anything. And use some kind of lubricant if necessary.
