Made mine into the DJ pony.
Okay, I think I have the Synchtube situation sorted out so now I can post this.
Wondering why everyone has the same avatar? Today the last episode of series one airs so we've all decided to go crazy. As well as confusing the rest of the forum, we are also going to have a last episode watching party on Synchtube. Synchtube is a website that lets up to 50 people watch the same Youtube video whilst chatting and staying in sync with each other, so (providing the episode is uploaded to Youtube) we can all watch it together.
Never seen the show before and want to see what all the fuss is about? Feel free to join us, aside from the first two introductory episodes there isn't an overarching storyline so watching this episode with the rest of us might help you understand why this cartoon about magical ponies has taken GAF by storm. Who knows, you might even like it.
Here's how it's all going to go down:
At midnight BST(Click here to see what time that is where you are, at time of posting it is about 6 hours 10 minutes away), I'm going to post the link to the website here and open the Synchtube room. To make sure no-one misses the start and everyone can get it working, there will be about 15 minutes of Pony related trailers and music videos (Including a couple made by our very own posters) before the episode starts. You could also use this time to get the popcorn ready since once the episode starts we won't be stopping it.
This is all, of course, heavily reliant on the episode being uploaded to Youtube in time. The stream is scheduled an hour later than episodes are usually uploaded and with it being the last episode I'm sure there will be a lot of people rushing to upload it. If the episode isn't uploaded in time though, I'm going to stay on and add it to the Synchtube as soon as possible if people don't mind waiting around.
I was going to password protect the room, but as some other people rightly pointed out that isn't very welcoming, so the room will be open to all. Like I said before I'll be posting here when I open the room, but if you want an extra reminder, send me a PM saying so and I'll also send you a PM when we start.

For those going to watch this episode early, please be considerate to others on this thread by not posting spoilers, and hold on to the jpgs and gifs until after the Synchtube party is over.

The only problem I see with keeping it open 24/7 is, from looking through the options, it seems to me that if the channel is open and there isn't a moderator there to take control of the channel, anyone watching can add whatever video they want to it.

Of course Trollestia loved that they 'livened up' the party. This was her plan all along, just like she planned for Twilight to befriend the girls and stop Luna; she realized inviting all of them to the Gala would cause a disaster.
