Calm down dude. It's Japanese. Nothing more needs to be said.I specifically read the entire thing to try and make some kind of fucking sense of this, but it just made me more confused and angry.

People get upset at a piece of media that encourages the exploitation of children. What's hard to understand?
It is though.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_Asia#JapanThe national age of consent in Japan is 13 as specified by the Japanese Penal Code Articles 176 and 177.[36][dead link] However, prefectures can have ordinances that prohibit sexual activities with any minor under 18.[37]
‘Rape’, Art. 177 Penal Code 'A person who, through violence or intimidation, has sexual intercourse with a female person of not less than thirteen (13) years of age commits the crime of rape and shall be punished with imprisonment at forced labour for a limited term of not less than two years. The same shall apply to a person who has sexual intercourse with a female person under thirteen (13) years of age.'[38]
'Indecency through compulsion', Art. 176 Penal Code 'A person who, through violence or intimidation, commits an indecent act upon a male or female person of not less than thirteen (13) years of age shall be punished with imprisonment at forced labour for not less than six months nor more than seven years. The same shall apply to a person who commits an indecent act upon a male or female person under thirteen (13) years of age.'[38]
I suppose I just don't understand the appeal or light-heartedness of images depicting seemingly underage girls in sexually suggestive poses.
It doesn't.
I don't see how this encourages exploitation of children though.People get upset at a piece of media that encourages the exploitation of children. What's hard to understand?
It won't exit Japan. If you're in Japan, I think you'll encounter sometimes this stuff. If you're elsewhere, you shouldn't browse the japanese store/thread
I understand that there is a market for this stuff, but just keep it on the PC where I can pretend it doesn't exist, instead of putting it on a console where i'm going to see it on the PS Store while i'm browsing.
Oh dear god it's happening again.
No thread because didn't the last one for this very game get nuked from orbit after it erupted into a 50 page discussion?![]()
As long as nobody is harmed, why not?
But that isn't the focus of the game, maybe you should get your mind out of the gutter.I suppose I just don't understand the appeal or light-heartedness of images depicting seemingly underage girls in sexually suggestive poses.
Unless its Opposite Day, then you'll need to explain.
It's the sexualization of children that promotes the exploitation.I don't see how this encourages exploitation of children though.
Nationally it is, but they have 'rules' that govern it more strictly in areas.

As long as there isn't any actual explicit content (which there isn't), it's just your average, run-of-the-mill fanservice.
It's normal in Japan, and probably the main reason we won't be seeing a localization of this.
Unless its Opposite Day, then you'll need to explain.
Because glorification of violence in video games promotes aggression...It's the sexualization of children that promotes the exploitation.
When someone is quoting the wikipedia page explaining the age of concent in japan you know you're in for a good thread
Do shooting games encourage the act of killing people with guns?
I was listening to a manga podcast and they mentioned how in the manga the brother admitted to his sister and grabbed her ass. So I checked it out and it was true.
This is some creepy shit.
I can't believe this is a thing.
WTF is wrong with you Japan.
Hey, feel free to quote a source that says the age of consent isn't 13. I'm genuinely curious, I have no idea.
Indeed, it seems like the sister wants to fuck the brother more than the other way around, so it probably should've been called 'My Big Brother Can't Be This Hunky' or something. That'd clear it up.I honestly keep hearing that the content in the anime and manga have NOTHING To do with the title. That the title is very misleading.
Read it more carefully, it is 13 but each region also has its own set of laws so its double tiered.
I suppose I just don't understand the appeal or light-heartedness of images depicting seemingly underage girls in sexually suggestive poses.
And? It's a drawing that doesn't depict a real person. I don't see the harm, if it exists. My mind... out of the gutter? Are you saying that this:

...isn't an image of a seemingly underage girl in a sexually suggestive pose? I never stated that they would be the focus of the game. But they are there.

In a way. They provided a means of aspirational catharsis. This game seems aimed at individuals who aspire to harm children.

Not to mention that this type of game is where such images would be expected.
Is it a foreign concept to go to the pool with your sister?
A sister that might have a delicious rump?
