My milkshake brings all the mods to the yard...

While every mod should be an intelligent, constructive, level headed person, we also make an attempt to create a group with a variety of interests (sports, science, writing, politics, etc., so that every community sub-group has some form of representation), a variety of gaming tastes (handhelds, PC, console, along with a variety of preferences for different genres) and a variety of locations (some European mods, some American, some Australian and so forth, to have mods with different time schedules). While Evilore of course gets the final say, most moderators are picked by committee discussion with all of these factors in mind.

one time they hooked me up to a machine to figure out how smart i was and i started telling them all about my ideas about video games and science fiction movies and they were like "wow" and the machine broke and it said i was like in the top 100 smart people to use the internet (it had to be using the internet because then it'd be unfair to like monks and newton and people who couldn't use the internet to get smart)

This man cracks me up with every single fucking post and tweet

So this is a tag fishing thread, right?

Seda give me a tag. Seda. SEDA. I see you over there in the corner. Get back over here.

Sometimes your posts just read like an excerpt from a manual. 2smart4me

Never again. Shit's going to get real this year when Food Truck Fridays comes back.

Always liked Cyans posts from Novel-GAF, though I preferred lurking.

Also, Mumei. Getting into a conversation with them seems like a good way to showcase ignorance. Sometimes there is something to argue vut Mumei's point is so well worded that I say forget it and just don't post.

Mumei got the perfect avatar, minus the violence and insanity D: it pretty much fits.

Also I hope the OP one days ventures into one of the many IRC rooms and has his dream crushed when he is presented with a mod making a "your mother" joke and realises they are just as smart as us (minus me because I'm cleverer).

I won't participate in the circle jerk but I will recognize how including and tolerant GAF's mods can be, and that's actually what sets this site apart from any other gaming forum. A place where you can openly share your sexual orientation or political views and find people who think the same way without any consequence.

When it comes to the gaming side, there have been times when I've literally tried to block some mods without any success (and I do wish we had the opportunity to do so). There have been very unfortunate choices for mods in the past, but it seems to me like the quality has been slowly but steadily reaching a nice equilibrium.

All of the objectionable mods are gone. That's probably a conscious decision to not ask people to volunteer who are objectionable.

I used to read back in the days of Dragona, during the great PS360 console wars. Fucking horrible... entire graveyards of users. And for the dumbest fucking reasons ever. Didn't want to sign up after I saw that lol...
