Closing my eyes, its more of an idea than an image. Open though its much clearer.
If I were to draw, lets say, I would keep my eyes open.

Just tried repeating 'red star' in my head (with eyes closed) and the picture became more vivid.
Then 'cardinal red star'
Then 'red wine red star'
