It's obvious they're watching cause they love the Marky Mark.

Dude can't go a movie without looking so pissed.

M. Night Shamalalalalalan should really do a remake of Night of the Lepus, there'd be nothing more awesome than never seeing the monster terrorizing everyone just to reveal it's a giant rabbit at the end.

Kinda enjoyed it. It felt like a feature-length episode of the Twilight Zone. Not a great film, but I certainly didn't go into the overall revulsion the majority of people watching did. Nor would I give a damn if someone I loved dared to watch it.

Oh yeah, and Knowing was one of the most enjoyable Sci-Fi films I have seen in recent memory. I never understood all the hate it received.

The Happening wasn't really that bad... it was just a little cheesy. I would gladly re-watch that movie if people who hadn't seen it insisted on watching it.

The Happening was shocking. What are you people talking about? Some of the dialog was so weird and stupid. There was no tension, there was no story, there was nothing expect a bunch of people moving along trying to out run the angry plants who control the wind somehow.

Shyamalan needs to make a movie where the twist is that it doesn't turn out to be terrible.

<insert good movie here> by M. Night Shyamalan.

The twist is
it wasn't written by M. Night Shyamalan.

Did anyone ever figure out why Mark Whalbergs acting is SO BAD ON PURPOSE in that movie?

This movie is terrible, but at the very least it's so terrible it's laughable. I still laugh at the famous clip of Mark talking about the girl at the pharmacy that seems like a pointless anecdote.

Also, if I remember, it seemed like the two main actors were actually in the same scene only a handful of times. I kept remembering noting that a lot of the dialogue scenes were just one actor onscreen, as if they were just talking to noone.

Anyway, I had the displeasure of seeing Aliens V Predator Requiem last night, and that is so bad as well.

I love this movie. There's an endless supply of hilarity. I'll never forget the scene with the lion. :lol

Zoey's performance was just bizarre.

After I watched The Happening, I felt stupid. Seriously, I felt just a little bit dumber than I already am and obviously I must be stupid for sitting through the whole thing.

Nicholas Cage is the only reason that movie is even watchable. Everything else about it does suck though. Howeer, I'd watch the hell out of the The Happening if it starred Nic Cage as the lead.

Nicholas Cage makes everything watchable.

Zooey Deschanel .... yeah, i HAVE to watch this movie.

Cute as a kitten? Check
Kickass first name? Check
French last name? Check

So cute.

i assume something happens in 'the happening'?
Sure something happens... at the end you realize that you wasted approximately 1 and 1/2 hours of your life. Also that you will never ever get them back.

On a serious note though its not the worst movie ever. They could have done worse.

The fat elf kid from Santa Clause 2 getting blown away by the shotgun and the most suspenseful scene involving a tree and a swing to be found in a movie ever were the best parts (Besides Zooey).

Wahlberg talking the plastic plant was pretty emotional as well, but only because I felt bad for Wahlberg himself...Not his character in the film.
