I prefer the Club.Nintendo program NCL has going. At least there you can plan for what you want to save up towards. And why no credit for third party games in the U.S?

My guess is...never.

The only thing they send me (except MP2 demo) was a little Custom Robo poster when I registered the game. But it was exclusive to Nintendo of Canada.

WTF, Nintendo Europe must be punishing me for importing DS.

When I go to the Nintendo Europe page I'm logged in at the main page, when I try to view or spend my stars, or just navigate away from the main page I get signed out.

And I can't sign in again, and the password email reminder doesn't work. There goes my 10,295 stars then.

I don't think NOA is giving anything out right now, but what you register stays registered, and it counts towards future stuff. Usually, it will tell you how many games/systems you need for the merch. and then you click a link, login, and then they will send you a conformation e-mail. NOA's website is garbage when it comes to notifying you of deals though, so you have to look around.
