.... when it comes to parking. Somebody decided to poorly word a sign on campus.
so its graduation time at my university. As I am driving up to campus to return some books I encounter this sign:

It seems it is parking for the African American Graduation that is happening on campus today, but you'd think the people that made the sign would think twice about the language they use. Also of note is that our University has 10 seperate colleges or communities around campus and this sign is pointing to the community where the majority of our African American Student body resides.
Kinda makes you wonder

ooops, I should note that this is a graduation ceremony for those in the African American Organization up on campus.

But it could've said something like "PARK YO SHIT HERE FOOLS"...

That's about as PC you can get.

"Negro Parking" - no.
"Black people" - no.

I can't think of anything more appropriate than "African American parking"

Well there is plenty of room on the second line next to the word parkng to add the abbreviation Grad, since it was the African American Graduation parking.
Im glad they didn't though because it sure amused me. :lol

The fact that they separate "African American" anything from the general student body sounds so damn rediculous it annoys me.
