Yeah, people use these to show off their shoes and ankles. They don't look very comfortable to me, and I only wear full length trousers anyway, so I don't have any.

Ooof I hate those. I get the mid-calf length and casually slide them down if it's too warm. I just feel naked if I wear ankle-high or ankle-less socks.

I like the ones that have just a hint of the.. whatever the upper part of the sock is. So you can see I'm wearing socks and I ain't no knobber no-socker, but I don't have them crawling up my legs like an 80s girl.

I fold mine inside out and back over my foot as I put on my shoes. When shoes come off I pull them back over ankle.
