NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

Embarrassingly, I preordered quite a few PS4 and yet have no PS4 to play them on. KZSF and Knack shipped and I think I may have to return them because there is no way I will be able to buy a PS4 now. In fact, I may not have time to game properly until 2015. Damn....
 
I also believe most people will start getting the shipping confirmation tomorrow. Hopefully Amazon dun goofs and some get it Thursday.
 
Got BF4 today (two day shipping) and AC4 is in transit (free shipping). Not bad (bought the PS4 in store, can't take any chances there)
 
I have 4 PS4s ordered on my Amazon account (mine, two for my brothers, one for my dad). Three are "Not yet shipped" but one moved to "Shipping Now." Maybe I'll get lucky and receive an early console? They all have the same estimated delivery date of the 15th, though.

Anyone else have anything shipped by USPS and not UPS? Looks like a couple of my games did and I can't recall ever not getting it from UPS in the past 5 years.

edit: Just realized I will have 8 retail games at launch, plus Resogun, Contrast and Super Motherload. DAMN.

yeah, i had some games delivered today via usps. it's weird cause amazon deliveries have always been via ups before. i really hope that my ps4 comes on launch day via ups as they deliver around 11am. usps didn't deliver my games until a little after 6pm tonight.

They shipped my copies of Battlefield and AC4 via USPS. I got them today but I think that is because they have a distribution center on the other side of town. I would rather UPS deliver since the mail person seems to not want to bother to knock or just throw packages at the door.

No prime. Just regular shipping. But it's the fact tht it is still not yet shipped that's disappointing : (

Also has anybody playstation Camera or Skylanders swap force shipped yet?

Yeah, and my USPS mail comes everyday by noon, and UPS is usually around 6pm :(

You guys think that perhaps all the units have been shipped to the UPS centers and they are just awaiting the "go" command from the amazon mothership?
 
Ordered on June 10 & it still is in 'Not Yet Shipped' mode. C'mon Amazon! I hope they are just doing bundles first & we all get notification tomorrow that our Launch Edition standalone system is shipping.

Same here. I pre-ordered mine like 4 min after the E3 presentation (right before it was even on the front page of Amazon). I'm thinking that those that have the "shipping now" are people that live further from distribution centers, therefore needs to be prepared for shipment tomorrow to get there by Friday.

I live in CA, so I have Arizona distribution next to my state. So I believe I won't get mine shipped until Thursday. Of course, that's my theory.

If not, I'm curious to those that have there shipment changed, did they order their system on the 10th like us?

EDIT: Nope, July 8th. 1 months after. SOOOO it must be based on distance from the distribution. This actually puts me at ease, because that means if people from July are 100% getting their system at launch, that means if you ordered before you are definitely getting it.

Are the fulfillment centers the distributions centers? That would mean the nearest one to me is NH - or about 3-4hrs away.

I've been sitting here hoping they don't suddenly decide to charge me for shipping and screw up my super serial fund balancing.

But I guess I'll just sit here and get drunk and play Space Rocks.
 
Bunch of crazies in here, man. If Amazon says you'll get it release-date, you'll get it release date.

They just overnighted ACIV to me yesterday, shipped at 8pm last night and arrived here at 3pm.


Set your mind at ease, fore amazon shall deliver unto ye thy PS4.

That's true. I'm in Philadelphia; there is a distribution center in Allentown. I would guess that my PS4 is in there and will be overnight shipped.

Good question, I don't know the answer to that. Maybe someone else can clarify. I just know that shipment is effected by distance to these centers. And honestly, everyone will get their PS4 by Friday - guaranteed. Even if someone had their PS4 shipped tonight, they wouldn't get it until Friday.

My guess is, those people that are getting the notices are further away than others, so they have to start preparing it tonight and get them out Wed to make the Friday release.
 
Well I'm in So Cal and they usually send my packages that have release date shipping 1-2 days before release. Also, it comes from the Arizona center.

Launch day stuff, absolutely.

Their Louisville warehouse is, iirc, attached to the Louisville UPS hub (the main UPS hub for the US) .. it exponentially increases the speed at which they're able to get the product to you.
 
Mine has yet to ship, but there is a huge amazon distribution site 30 minutes from my house.

My dilemma is do I change my shipment to pick at UPS or hope for an early delivery and get it on Thursday.
 
My PS4 has not changed, but my camera has moved to Shipping Soon at Amazon.

I got two games from them today and have two from Gamefly- I'm set. Still wish I had gotten a B1G1 code but no big deal.
