Im in quakertown, about 20 min north of you, not yet shipped. Order was placed june 10
 
I finally got charged for my PS4, and Amazon has it listed as "Preparing for Shipment."

I have to admit, the excitement is starting to creep up. I was pretty neutral enthused for a while now, but after getting my 3 PS4 games today, and holding the packages in my hand, and now seeing that my account has been charged, and it's about to be shipped off, I'm starting to feel it. I may have to grab a ticket for the hype train after all.
 
Yeah, my Amazon preorder is still sitting at not shipped too but since I live near a major hub (Washington DC) they could ship it late tomorrow evening and I'd still get it by Friday morning.

I need to know what shipping method they're using though so I can make my plans :(

That's likely the case. I'm not worried at all as Amazon is always on time for me.

Not charged yet either.

Not gone into shipping process yet.
Ordered seconds after it went up in June. Amazon Prime member.
I did add credit to my order to pay it off, so I'm nervous. However I am close to a distribution center. I had a two-day item the other day not go into shipping until the night before I received it.

Chicago as well. If it's coming from Indiana, it might not go into shipping til tomorrow.
 
Has anyone had experience with the "hold for pickup" option?

Basically my understanding would be, it would arrive at the local processing facility, then I could just go and pick it up as soon as they receive it.

I guess my only issue would be selecting that option, then having them delay pickup for another day.

I'm in DC too. I have a feeling they won't ship mine until tomorrow, and they'll use Lasership for me. Seems like their preference is to get it to Laurel on their own, and just have Lasership bring it the rest of the way.
 
Probably something to this distribution hub thing. I live about 30 minutes from Amazon distro center. Hey amazon warehouse guy if you're reading this I'll buy you lunch if you meet me with my PS4.

I'm here in Nash as well. If it ships today, what are the odds of getting it tomorrow I wonder? Fingers crossed.
 
I placed a PS4 launch edition on June 10th - Not Yet Shipping - still (This one is going to my bro)

Placed a BF4 PS4 Launch Day Bundle on June 24th - PREPARING TO SHIP! This one is coming to me. Both of us are in the Bay Area

Wonder why the one I placed last is possibly shipping first.

Order was placed June 15th.

I'm in the SF Bay Area. Maybe adding which area your located in might add a bit more context. Any others from the SF Bay Area have a different status then mine?

Bundles are shipping first for some reason.
 
Chicago, Not Yet Shipped. Not worried. Amazon frequently ships out pre-order stuff the day beforehand with UPS Next Day Air.

I just hope I can catch the shipping info early enough to have UPS hold the package before it goes out on the truck Friday morning.

It is probably a workload thing. Those orders take longer to get together so they are doing them first in order to make sure they are running down to the last minute packing them. Those of us with the launch editions are as easily packed as putting a box in a box and loading it up.
 
Mine just went to preparing for shipment and my debit card has a charge on it now. Launch Edition ordered June 10th. Located in Wisconsin.
 
That might have been the first unhelpful Amazon conversation I had. I was asking for insight into whether or not my shipping status would actually change today or tomorrow, but I only got the usual blah assurance that the order was perfect. Maybe not interested in answering the question or I blew explaining it clearly enough. I'll just wait and see. I'm not chasing every chat CSR over this when there's so much time in the day.
