The underlying idea for this piece was that The American Way is to exploit those who we feel are disposable to us. At the top of the picture Bush, Condoleeza, and Cheney are seen with smug grins on their face, as they sit atop the world with an abundance of wealth. Beneath them are the individuals they allow to be beaten, exploited, and murdered in the name of making more money. The pig cops reference the animal in man, while the sheep represent those being led to the slaughter. The outside border and font refer to the almighty dollar, because at the end of the day money is largely what motivates all of the above.
