Not sure if I understand, you're looking forward to next-gen NBA Live because NBA 2K14 on current-gen doesn't look as good?

Oh, OK. Yeah, definitely. I'm interested in that bounce-tek stuff where the ball is completely free from the player. 2k needs to step up in that regard.

Ever since the first real current gen game (2K7) the series is somewhat the same. It´s the same problem with each sports game out there.
They extracted the power of these consoles rather quicklyand just added modes/animations/kits in the following years.
It´s a good game, but improvments only on 2k15, the first real next gen title.
I´ll probably pass again. Despite their efforts to say "dreamcast netcode is gone, stop BSing us" online is still terrible overseas. Game just won´t work properly, and when it does it´s a cheesefest that would need a major gameplay overhaul to fix it.

Looks like 2k13 but it's 14 with new rosters, modes and all that extra stuff so I'm excited. I play on My Player mode anyways. I hope they upgraded MyPlayer mode to real time's update trades and roster adjustment according to the actual season

I seen a leaked videos of Live and it's terrible. The ball physics is what it's showing off because everything else is slacking. The passing game.. . Omg, disgusting. There is absolutely no contact on the drive and still feels like your NBA Live back in the days with the arcade feel. It's not competitive feeling at all from what I've seen. The video got taken down but it was terrible.
I have seen it; I am not putting too much stock into it. I will wait for the game to arrive first. I know one thing, I really hope EA nails Live in hopes that they revive NCAA hoops.
probably looks like shit and is a barebones port which is why they're not talking about it.
Every other cross-gen game is showing off the next-gen title, 2K is the only one that's like "Hey guys! PS3/360 ARE STILL COOL! LOOK AT THIS!"
2k11 looks awful. So many players just aren't modeled nearly as well. This is coming from someone who stills rocks 2k11 as well.

Looks like 11, 12 and 13, so will pick it up when it hits the 10$ price. Time for a visual upgrade 2K.

it varies player to player. some players are modeled better in newer iterations while others look worse. I think 2k11 is still king though in terms of how it controls, how easy it is to do moves, the amount of moves you have, and also all the features in the game (with none locked away because of pre-orer bullshit).

The lighting and animation are both fantastic even in an early form.
wasn't impressed with the first two gifs but this one looks pretty good. Something a little off about lebron though.

They'll probably start pushing the next-gen versions once they get the PS3, PC and 360 versions out the door.

Same thing happened when 2K6 came out for the next-gen consoles. There will be a next-gen trailer in mid-October.
