And to the sweat haters, these guys literally POUR sweat over the course of game, they're not overdoing shit if these screens are from the middle of a game.

Great sweat effect, but they look lifeless... its the eyes I think.. or the expression on their faces. It reminds me of action figures... or claymation
 
The shine is set a bit too high on this one. And don't give me that "people shine when they sweat in real basketball" shit. Even the guys in the audience are glowing.

i'm fucking sick of the MGS4 comparisons to everything already, fucking BORED fucking SENSELESS by BOTH sides of the "console war", you unoriginal wazzaks.

Quoted for supreme truth. STFU about MGS4, I HATE the Xbox and 360, but MGS4 on a technical level isn't the leaps and bounds beyond everything else that you lot seem to think.

To start off, hilarious. But really, the only reason I brought up MGS4 was because people have been using this game as proof that the 360 is on par with the PS3.

They just look like that in screens because in the actual game they are always moving due to the awesome physics.

In fact the clothing animation is really the most impressive thing about this game IMO. It's much better than any other clothing to date and really covers one of the much needed aspects of game animation. Much more impressive than the bodies in the game IMO.
 
the only problem I have with the jerseys in this game from the pics shown is that they look paper thin in the close ups, not that it will matter during gameplay. all the logos and stuff look nice and the names on the back look like they should unlike some of the shots Ive seen of Live where the names were in very small text on the jersey.

I think the player models couldnt look better though. Im sure the sweat is overdone but thankfully it looks like youll have to build it up over the course of the game, but I can deal with a little exaggeration for the sake of nice screen shots as long as the rest of it is in good shape.
 
wow those player faces are terrible :lol it takes a step backwards from 2k5/2k6 (everything else looks top notch though)...................well its still in progress too though so i guess they have some time (unless this is a launch title)
 
it looks really impressive and really creepy at once. maybe some of that "uncanny valley" effect happening.
