dorio said:Wait a second. What's that opening sequence actually gameplay?
Wow!!! I thought that was part of a cgi commercial sequence. What the hell is MS doing?! Throw this in a their demo units and starting counting the dollars.DMczaf said:Yeah, thats NBA Live 360's presentation right when you boot up.
Yeah Klee, that's the same one from the IGN Insider video's that I've been telling all you guys about. One of the one's I watch everyday in disbelief because the graphics are so sick. Nobody ever believes me though. I'll say it again, as I say it all the time, imo, I have never witnessed better graphics in a game in my life. Glad to see there is finally a free version of that video out there now; it was getting tiring telling everyone how amazing it looked.Kleegamefan said:O

This looks amazing!!!!!
that's cause we're all talking about the graphics, not the animations. most of us agree that the animations need serious work and everybody agrees the skating players need to be addressed.BigZep said:Im not seeing what you guys are...I see the same ole' NBA Live...
Same shitty shooting animations are there.
well.... that's the thing.. :lol we're all hoping and praying the animations get polished and smoothed out and they fix the skating players (hey, a gamer can dream right?)... cause then, pure gaming graphical sex for the eyes! but they still deserve some DAP for these graphics... no matter what.DaddyZ said:Looks like the Live I dont like...Love the menu though, very slick.
What good are those graphics if the animations are stuck in this generation? I dunno either.

While the game has the NBA Live name on it, donÂ’t expect the high-flying arcade style of basketball of the current-generation. The development team has purposely focused on providing a more realistic experience, and so the game may feel a bit slow at first. This did allow for cycling the ball a lot better, and for setting up a specific play. The A.I. was hit or miss, sometimes allowing an easy dunk, while locking the lanes down (tightly) in other situations. WeÂ’ll need some significant playtime in order to determine where the A.I. is truly at. The build we played, while not finalized, had some slowdown issues, but we have been assured that the retail game will hit its target of 60 fps.
shpankey said::lol I don't know what it stands for either, I just say it because of the 'Pardon the Interruption' show on ESPN where Wilbon always says it. I assume it means to give them props, or credit for a good job. Something like that.
Kiyamon said:I am actually kind of glad that NBA2k6 was so impressive... it really made EA step up. I guarantee that if it wasn't for 2K6, EA would of not stepped up the way the did.
Now I forsee VC releasing some impressive 2K6 videos soon.
Ok, I've looked around now since then, and it appears that EA Canada did this themselves. They purposely chose to build the graphics engine for the Xbox 360 from the ground up, taking full advantage of everything it has to offer.DaddyZ said:EA doesnt...they outsourced for those graphics...I give the team who did them credit.

Can you please substantiate your claim with a link to some proof?
