Sooo after seeing all the creepy Alison and co avatars on GAF I avoided Community like the plague, but it recently began screening on Australian television and I have to say fuck you all this shit is alright.

I mean, its not quite perfect, but when it hits it hits hard and I've had numerous laugh out loud moments during the three episodes I've watched.

So yeah, thanks GAF. Also fuck you.

Honestly, the only issue I have with it is that, like most American sitcoms, it does the whole "ho ho jokey jokey DEEP AND MEANINGFUL EMOTIONAL PART ho ho saved with a joke" thing. It works mostly, but it hasnt quite got it down to an art like Arrested Development did.

But its a bit unfair to compare with the best.

So apparently according to Dan, the season 1 dvd will be released in Fall, 2 weeks before season 2 premieres.

A show with a legacy like Simpsons is hard to follow, even if it does suck and has for awhile. It's not a shameful thing to lose to that than an upstart show no one's ever heard of or even much less watch much of here.

Everytime I looked at Simpsons' standing it always was like 30%, getting its ass kicked by whatever. No idea how it kept winning. Oh well.
