I'm surprised people are still posting in this thread. I would have thought all your heads blew up when Annie was "rolling the dice."

I'm afraid you're going to have to be a little more specific... :lol

She was rolling the dice of love. :lol

Subtle wordplay may be lost on you.
In context, 'head' has two distinct meanings, either of which would seemingly apply to the video/image.

Ratings!

NBC's "Community" (5.6 million, 2.3) reached its best rating since moving to 8 p.m., while "Parks & Recreation" (4.9 million, 2.2) had its highest number since last April. Curiously, even though the earlier comedies rose, "Office" (7.9 million, 3.9) and "30 Rock" (5.9 million, 2.9) dropped about 6% each.

:D

also, Dan Harmon said they were #1 at 8 in the 18-34 demo. Fucking awesome.

Community and Parks & Recreation have been 2 of my favorite shows this season, P&R has really brought it after a ho-hum 1st season

Ratings history for those interested:

09/17: 7.7 million, 4.6/8 (series premiere)
09/24: 5.4 million, 3.4/5
10/01: 5.8 million, 3.4/5
10/08: 5.1 million, 3.5/6 (move to 8pm)
10/15: 5.1 million, 3.2/5
10/22: 5.2 million, 3.3/5
10/29: 5.5 million, 3.6/6
11/05: 5.6 million, 3.7/6

Nice to see the steady climb continuing. As Costanza mentioned it is notable that Community continues to gain viewers while the other NBC sitcoms continue to decline. Community getting a second season is looking more and more promising.

Shame about P&Rs though. I agree with DMczaf that it has gotten a lot better this year.

It isn't generally, but the way you responded sounded like you were talking about the "rolling the dice" part of my sentence.

Subtle wordplay isn't lost on me when it is itself well worded. ;)

This show continues to impress me. I don't think I've seen a network sitcom hit the ground running like this since Arrested Development; hell, few tv shows period get out with a great first season.

Enjoyed last night's ep, but I think the Halloween one is still my favorite so far.

The first episode was awesome, so if you didn't like that, the show is probably not your thing.

Hm, okay.

It's weird because I'm a huge Arrested Development fan, so every time I see the thread title I'm interested again :lol But that first episode was so forced.

Then again, the first episode of Arrested Development was a little off as well, maybe this show finds its groove shortly after in similar fashion.

I'm in the same boat, AD is one of my top shows and Community has just not clicked with me.

Eh, give it a shot on Hulu, the first episode was forced because they introduced everyone and laid out their main schticks in 30 minutes. It gets a lot better at being a show with great inter-relationships.

This. I dont get why the pilot gets all the love, as that was my least favorite episode of the series so far. It gets much better as the show settles into a groove.

I also felt a trying-too-hard vibe from the first few episodes (which I still liked) but they've almost completely ditched that now.

Why haven't you included the 18-49 demo rating in your history, which is the only number that matters in terms of renewal? Total viewers and share are worthless in determining if a show will be back next year.

I re-watched the pilot last night and while it had some good moments, the show has gotten much, much better. Last night's episode was great.

Britta would almost be attractive, but there is something off about her face... I think it's her teeth or mouth or something. Sometimes when she smiles without opening her mouth, she almost looks pretty.

Exactly, its just so...sharp. Her lips are so thin.

This show is so fucking awesome

and god annie is adorable

hope this show has a run so long that by the time it ends nobody cares about it anymore because of how much its been beaten into the ground!

Put me in this camp as well. I really enjoyed the pilot when I watched it, but the show has definitely gotten better over time.

I get my ratings info from here and they simply don't have detailed information about demographics. If you know of a site with more detailed ratings information I will update my list.

Jeff hugging Abed was surprisingly touching, to me. I feel like this show is developing really nice dynamics between its characters. I especially liked this episode because the humor was based more on the characters than on random situations.

I broke my TiVo pausing and rewinding over and over while Annie was walking away in her hospital gown at the end. Then I finally realized it was a body double but it still felt good to pretend it was her.

They have the breakdown and analysis daily.

Also, don't know if anyone noticed this, but:

After Troy pretends to be Annie's backpack, there's a tiny tiny frame of time where you can see Pierce sneaking behind Shirley to do the same thing. Just loved that touch. :lol

Another great episode, but Britta is still the least interesting character on the show, though Pierce is still 100% comic relief.
Thread title could use an update.

i started watching this about 2 weeks ago, and I'm finally caught up and damn this show is great, every character is well casted, and the humor is precise and on point.

Dude. The tone of this episode was a huge departure for the series so far. While it was less jokes per minute, it was nice to see some of the characters grow.
