I agree its a goo setting, bt the legitimate lgal dude is a bit lard hittin and ==========he i s not very convurrent. In whilst he is a goos character. I liekd the show overall and I enjoyed th comedyy of it. Overal I thought it was really good, but I hoep tha tthtey can keep up tehe goodness fo it.Fatalah said:Fantastic pilot. Can't wait for more. Definitely reminds me of being back in college. I didn't go to a community college, but the show lives up to all the stereotypes. Good setting for a show.

It was nice to see John Oliver on something other than the Daily Show.

Holy shit, it was the funniest. Fucking non-stop jokes. Especially with the inside RAAAAAAAANDY joke.Himuro said:I got the shows mixed up.
The worst show I saw tonight was Parks and Recreation. Horrible.
BrandNew said:Eww, you think? Different strokes I guess, but I really hate P & R.

Maybe for sitcoms. The only day I watch NBC now is on Thursday. Their dramas blow now since they keep canceling everything that's good.omg rite said:If they can manage to make Heroes stop sucking, NBC should be #1.

I only laughed twice at the episode but it was still entertaining. Not all funny shit makes me laugh. Was this genuinely not funny for you or do you think that if you don't laugh it's not funny?BenjaminBirdie said:Yeah, I just tried to give the rest of the episode a shot. Not one joke landed for me. I think NBC stuff is way better when it's either a lot more free form (Office, P&R) or incredibly well-written (30 Rock). This was neither.

This was not clever. Hey, I love Joel McHale, I think he's great, same goes for Chevy Chase, very funny guy, but this was not well written. It's a shame, because Harmon helped write Heat Vision & Jack, which is a 22 minitue diamond-hard shard of comedic brilliance. This just seems like all the character tropes that never made it to another sitcom all got thrown into the same unfunny room together.

I feel bad for it though, as it had to follow the funniest episode of The Office I've ever seen.
1-D_FTW said:EDIT: Somebody made mention of the British guy being from Daily Show or something. Is it supposed to be an intentionally bad British accent? The guy isn't British right? I kept expecting him to be exposed for having a fake British accent. And he had that one stretch where he was more Matthew McConaughey than British guy.
It's almost like David Schwimmer was doing an intentionally bad British accent and I loved it.

Wh.. it was good, but are you saying you never saw seasons 2 or 3?
I think this confirms that there is literally a first for EVERYTHING.BenjaminBirdie said:I gave up after the "can't be an email attachment" joke and watched Parks & Recreation. That was a lot funnier.
