NDS Needs Starfox 64!!

We could have the top screen used for the graphics, and then use the bottom screen with the stylus to move around and aim with. :) You could shoot with the L shoulder button. Barrel roll by pressing left or right on the d-pad. Boost by pressing up on the dpad. And brake by pressing back on the dpad. :)

What about an all new one? ;) I'm for it anyway but i'd like ot see other stuff too. MP Hunters has me most interested.

Can't we just have a game were we shoot/aim with buttons or pads? I didn't like MPH's scheme. :(

You would rarely have to use the D-pad though except for braking and boosting and some barrel rolls every now and then. This controll would be perfect for it.

I'm sure we'll see a new Starfox game on the DS at some point, it makes too much sense to ignore.

Starfox sells well, it suits the DS perfectly and we get an iteration on most Nintendo systems. The odd one out is the GBA of course, and I'm still not sure why we never got a Starfox game on that. i still think we'll see a DS title though, despite that.

Yeah. I hope Star Fox DS, F-Zero X DS, Excitebike DS, 1080 DS, and Wave Race DS all grace the system. Nintendo baby !!!

I hope we get games like that instead of Mario Party DS, Mario Tennis DS, Mario Golf DS, Mario Pinball DS, ... you get my drift.

The NDS needs Starfox 64 like the GBA needs classic Starfox I & II.

And by that, I mean FUCKING NOW!

No ports new games please!
Not gonna happen! Nintendo fans won't allow it! :) And as long as we get new content i wouldn't mind some port. Preferably all new content, just same engine or whatever.

RPGs
Strategy
Puzzle
Sims

^^^

Those are the categories the DS should excel at. Other types of games seem "shoehorned" to me.

That's probably true, but then again, I do favor more than one control scheme anyway. :D

IAWTP. DS =/= N64 mini plz.

Yeah I am very keen on the DS but I don’t want it to become a port fest! I have played games like OOT and SF64 many times and don’t want to purchase them for a second time.

The new 2D Mario is what excites me; however I wish they went with paper Mario art style rather then and pseudo 3d look.

Anyway probably wait to see how many new titles Nintendo develop and if they interest me before I purchase, hopefully it’s clear before the PAL launch.

DS Needs StarFox 2!!

The unreleased SNES one, spiffed up with StarFox 64 graphics (and a bit more, cause the DS can do it)
There was a lot of neat stuff in that game.

Not every game has to use the damn stylus, I'd like the SNES controls with the option of a thumbpad mode for aiming.

While I agree that not every game needs it, I think this would be a great title for the stylus personally.

For people worried about ports, don't be. So far I believe Nintendo have announced roughly 18 DS titles, and only one of them has been a port. And even that has improved grahpics, new levels, multiplayer and mini games.

I think StarFox 2 would be a perfect match for DS. Bottom screen for map layout, health etc. And top screen just purely a game screen.

*masturbates furiously*

I wouldn't mind Wave Race DS myself. Just not too sure about the controls.

Yeah I was thinking that myself. WR64 made very good use of the analog stick. Its hard to imagine how good it could possibly be with a d-pad.

the next two Pokemon games have been announced for the DS. Who knows, maybe they'll have N64 stadium like graphics.

Haha, I know I know, as if.

I'm surprised there isn't a Pokemon Colliseum for it. I'd even enjoy Pokemon Stadium on the DS.

That'd be kind of cool. Since there is a GBA slot on the system already. But I think they would actually sell more systems if they created an all new 3D Pokemon adventure for it...
