Oh shit that's fucked up. I used to drive through there to get to work. Lucky I got out last Thursday. I'm back in Dallas now.

It's rained for like over a week straight up here (Dallas), but still no flooding. Poor Houston (and the rest of southern TX).

I'm so...fucking...sick..of these monsoon conditions. That's one thing I hate about south Texas. Everyone else gets snow etc around this time of year, and we get torrential downpours or, at best, SLEET. Fantastic.

Oh well, at least my classes for this evening are cancelled.
