I just watched May and found it to be quite excellent. Are there any more obscure horror films similar that I might not have heard of? I enjoy the psychological horror/thrillers more than the slasher/gore genre, so take that into consideration if you have any recommendations.

Try:

-Perfect Blue
Anime, but a good psychological thriller.

-The Psychic
Obscure, slightly cheesy Italian thriller that pay offs in the end. Hard to find; not on DVD.

-Audition
Disturbing Japanese horror/thriller movie. Has a stong psychological angle too.

-Cure
An OK Japanese psycho thriller

-Don't Look Now
Weird movie with Donald Sutherland has a good rep, I thought it was only OK.

Someone else told me that Audition was really good too. I'll check that out next I think.
