So I bought a TvC stick off ebay a few days ago and the fucker sent me it with all the stickers on the box and shit, is there anyone who doesn't care for their box?? I like to keep it out on display with my movies and stuff, I can trade you this box so you have somewhere to store your stick

I know, what an asshole. I did only pay 60$ but this still sukcs
Dude, next time use a hair dryer to remove stickers(This applies to books, DVD cases or anything for that matter, except windows, you need windex for that)A matter a fact, you might be able to save the box still. Get a razor and a hair dryer(Aim at the spot you want first for 2minutes or so before you start peeling the glue)Remember that you need to keep the hair dryer aim at the spot at all times while removing the glue with the razor.

EDIT-BTW The top two stickers won't require the razor, only the dryer(Once they're hot enough you could easily remove them with you fingers)

Those are amazing sticks.

Amazing Zelda stick wins the internet today. Did you make the artwork yourself?
Thanks! =]

Yep, I did indeed 'Shop the artwork for my sticks. Gold just doesn't seem to be a common color scheme for custom joysticks for some reason and I really wanted a Link's Awakening sprite somewhere on there, haha.

I've had my Fight Stick (Tournament, Round 1) for a few months now. I love it.

I'm now ready to pimp it.

How easy is it to swap out the picture underneath the plastic and do i need special paper and stuff to do it?

It's really not hard. There's a very excellent tutorial on SRK's forums that will tell you everything you need to know, but it's blocked at work so I can't fetch it for you right this moment.

That's a lot of parts!
are you making any full customs?
Nah, the Seimitsu buttons, blue ball top and plugs are for my shitty old HRAP 2. The two red, two blue, four white, yellow 24s and ball top are for a friends shitty old HRAP 2. I think he's doing something Sean themed. :lol

The stick, bubble top and blue Sanwas are for my broken TE. I'm probably just going to order some plexiglass from Art and get my girlfriend to draw something up. Nothing too fancy at all.

that's cool, I actually have a bunch of spare Sanwa and Seimitsu parts sitting around for whenever i decide to mod something. Or sometimes I donate to my SE owning friends.
also, what is it like having a girlfriend?

I will check when I get back from Japan, they should have been on sale already but I'll see.

I bought a shitload of sticks in Japan!

I brought a bunch over to the GODSGARDEN II Street Fighter IV event. Fun stuff!

Got a cocktail cabinet from dreamarcades, then built and attached secondary panels with 4 spinners for Warlords/Super Sprint action.

Super Sprint with steering wheels attached to the spinners:

Plus an accidental long-exposure on Galaga, so you can see the lighted buttons:

Madcatz SSF4 sticks will be in stock on Friday at Amazon (according to their latest update). Whats new with the SSF4 stick other than the sweet new housing? Same everything as the TE?

It also has an improved PCB that's supposed to be more reliable than the SF4 TEs'. Hopefully that means a lower percentage of sticks eventually having their shoulder buttons/triggers dying or requiring unplugging/replugging to get the console to recognize them.

awesome, I rather get it from Amazon since I am a prime member

and wtf, Play-Asia hasn't opened up the preorders for the Premium Viewlix stick. Anyone knows of any other place I can preorder them?

Finally got my stick put back together after installing a chimp board.

Pretty happy with how the top turned out since I'm not great with Photoshop. Just tried to keep it simple. Stole the bottom from Deviant Art. Thanks to the dude I stole it from!

Crazy-sweet set up there, man.

Does anyone here know where to pre-order the upcoming "S" edition of the stick over in Europe? I'm trying to look but I can't find anything :(

Ugh, I just swapped some Seimitsu buttons into my PS2 HRAP 1 and now the entire top row doesn't work. I guess I should've tested it before I bolted/screwed everything back together. :lol

Edit: Could it have anything to do with plugging L1 & L2 and leaving the wires sitting around inside the stick?

Edit 2: Ok, I dunno what the hell is going on now. I thought square, triangle and R1 weren't working, but it turns out they do. I'm just messing around in practice mode in SFIV and it seems like whatever buttons I assign to punches straight up don't work.

Yes, soldering is required to replace the stick on the HRAP EX
it's kind of weird because most HRAPs use a standard 5-pin connector for the stick lever, but HRAP EX and EX-SE do not.

I feared as much - thanks for the info brother.

OK...I have pre-ordered the White SSFIV TE stick from Amazon..for the 360.

This is the first time I have ever bought an arcade stick! I always used to play on a gamepad. Wish me luck! :D

I dunno about that HRAP VX. There is no room at all to rest your wrists if needed.
sure there is

It's designed to accommodate the wrist this way.
I honestly find it more comfortable over extended periods than lying my wrist flat.

That looks awkward to me. I meant flat space like on the TE. I'm still tempted to get one of these. Can you buy them anywhere yet?

if you have big hands, you probably won't like the VX as much... just saying.

BTW I love the Hori RAP Premium VLX

Got to play with it for 2 days...

yum
