That's how it is with my TvC stick. The buttons are so sensitive I can't even rest my fingers on them. I do prefer it that way though. Anyway, instead of getting a replacement, you can always swap them out for Seimitsu buttons which actually need to be pushed in for them to register.
Well, considering that I can barely play at times with the characters doing things I don't want, I might have to do that. Trial by fire ugh

Full Seimitsu V-series have been out for some time.

man, what the FUCK. That's what I get for actually playing fighting games and not paying attention to the Stick Game.

US release? Maybe, hopefully?

I need help. I lost the HRAP3 PS3 wiring color code. Someone got that or a picture?

Edit : it's done! Here we go, my Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 King of fighters XIII edition! Full Sanwa, custom overlay by myself!

Nice job, it looks great!

The VX SE is a close relative of the VX SA, which was just released this summer, so I'd say there's a fair chance of these crossing the Pacific as well.

Anyone know of a place to get a Qanba Q4RAF stick? I know Focus Fire sells them but they're sold out and not taking any pre-orders. If worse comes to worse I'll just wait and see if they take orders again.

Anyone wanna battle? Arcade stick collection vs, go!

I will take that challenge!!!!!!

This is really an attempt to get MM to finally post a pic of his mega collection that not even Madcatz nor Hori could beat

MM's sponsor = Pods? Need one for storage for all those sticks!

I swapped out the joystick in my SF IV SE stick with a Sanwa one and switched to an octagonal gate. I can't believe the difference it makes. The clicky stick really helps me identify when movements register, and the gate has made half-circle motions so much easier.

Are there any sites with decent SE artwork? I wouldn't mind switching out the the stock artwork for something nicer when my new buttons arrive, and I don't have the eye to do much in Gimp.

Hey what's the best way to get a sanwa loaded ps2 stick?
Try to track down a HRAP2 or HRAP2 SA.
They're scarce. Hori reissued a few HRAP2 SA's last december but they won't be cheap.

Building your own from scratch would be cheaper.

My 360 stick, nothing fancy:

I've finally settled on the fact I definitely prefer a Seimitsu specifically for Third Strike but love Sanwa buttons for everything. My Hori SE I actually swapped out the Seimitsu buttons--didn't like them at all.

Slightly OT, but most of the guys in this thread will probably know the answer to this:

Was about to put a pair of brand new L32s into my New Astro City cabinet today, and discovered the mounts are much different than what I've seen in other NACs.

The original owner had Sanwas inside - but the mounting plate looks extra wide.

Take a look at the pic below - I've looked at 3 different CPs and none of them have the mounting brackets this wide (they are soldered on in case you're wondering) - the stick in the pic on the left is the original Sanwa, and the right side shows the Seimitsu.

Anyone know if they make a mounting plate for the L32 that would fit this panel? Can't seem to find one that matches up...

Well damn, it seems I lost my 4-way restrictor for my stick.

Does anybody know of a German online shop (or European online shop that delivers to Germany) that still sells 4-way restrictors for a Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT?
Arcadeshop.de seems to be out of stock for those :(

I wanna play Pacman CSEDX and using an 8-way restrictor for that is just not acceptable for me :(

That's mine. A friend made it for me. Full Seimitsu, with a Paewong PCB and a RJ-45 connector for the cable.

Thinking about putting some led lights into it, so that I have a christmas three every time I play :D.

Oh God what am I doing, someone take photoshop away from me!

OH MY GOD YOU ASSHOLE, I JUST HAD THE IDEA TO DO A STICK LIKE THIS WITH THAT EXACT SAME JOYSTICK PLACEMENT A DAY OR SO AGO, THOUGHT I WAS TOTALLY CLEVER AND NOW I COME IN HERE AND SEE THIS!!!

Seriously, this is now the worst day I've had in weeks. I'm so utterly crushed and disappointed. I've worked so hard on the art template, now it's nothing but garbage.

I'm going to go sit in the corner and cry now. :(

No way to move over the mounting plate from the sanwa?

Too wide to use the Sanwa plate - but I figured out it's the old Seimitsu "S" plate I need (not "SS") - I never realized the NACs had several types of control panels (my CP is a Type 1 apparently...)

Problem solved - found the plates... now i just need to wait for them to arrive.

The ball top looks do-able if you ask one of those experienced painters who do similar balltop painting. After that, it's a plain old mod like every other.

I might have to steal the idea too. . . I know sum1 who knows b15. come at me bro.

Does anybody know the actual dimensions of an Japanese Style arcade cabinet and the bench? I can't find proper information anywhere.

I'm tired of using a too-damn-low bench for my arcade stick. I want some proper measurements up in this.

So, how far from the ground are the controls on an Japanese Arcade Cabinet and what's the height of the bench they sit on to play? I've been Googling around today and can't find shit.

If you're a tall westerner you'd probably be better off doing a custom which suits you.

SO I just got my Hitbox in! It's pretty awesome but man am I going back to the drawing board with this thing! 360 characters are out for the moment, and left side motions are difficult for me to pull off consistently. I'm also finding it harder to play SSFIV:AE than say Blaz Blue, which is completely surprising to me!

Is there any 2 player arcade sticks out there that either have sanwa/seimitsu parts, or are easily modifiable to get sanwa/seimitsu parts into?

I know there was a very cool looking 2 player joystick for the Sega Saturn many moons ago that looked just like a candy cabinet control panel.

It was a dream of mine to have one back then, and now that I actually appreciate the quality of what a setup like that actually offers, I really wish I could find something similar.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one with no idea. I finally got Poison turned into a stick, so I'll post pics after work.

Please show us the finished product!
Won't be much to show, sadly. :<

I'm only gonna switch out the PCB to a Paewang one and add a couple of buttons/buttonholes to the back.

I'm gonna buy plexi, artwork, a new balltop and some new buttons in the future though!

Grrr. I just got a mayflash Wii usb adapter today and my PC wont recognize my TvC stick or Classic Controller. Anyone have any experience with this?

Anyone else with a V3 SA constantly hit the start button with their pinky by mistake? It happened like four times when I was playing MvC with my roommate last night. Then again, I have large gorilla hands, so there's that.

Hasn't happened to me.

Then again there isn't a single game in which I use the furthest buttons (I just use the inner 6)
