July was extremely busy for me. Between Anime Expo, EVO 2014 and Comic-Con I definitely had my hands full with work/fun and purchases! Here's what I got in July!

Most notable purchase last month was this:

I just love artbooks, and this was a great deal (even if I was disappointed by the cover condition). It's pretty rare, and I got it for a good price (used obviously, as there's no new copies anymore, it's a 2001 book). Some of the illustrations inside have never been reprinted in another book since.

Hope this doesn't break some rules, as it was in the july thread (last post).
Should have some good stuff this month (artbooks, games, etc).

Man I'm so glad I have the whole Hellsing Ultimate now, on blu-ray most of everything. Shit was expensive when they were on DVD.

I couldn't resist picking up some of my favourite re-releases (new moulds) of figures from my childhood!

Apparently this game is hard to find nowadays, so I got a used copy for a decent price.

Finally got an Atomic Purple Gameboy Color and Gameboy Micro! Picked up some rechargeable batteries for the GBC.

It has been a nostalgic month for purchases.

My local Hard-Off recycle shop was having a half off sale on junk so I splurged on things I was on the fence about.

For under 1500 yen I picked up a metallic blue PSP3000, Pink Gameboy Color, Dreamcast 4x memory, White PS2 memory card for my PSX DVR system, Dreamcast Vibration pack, a seemingly unused Xbox 360 USB controller, and 4 Saturn games.







All the Saturn game came complete with spine cards and stickers. Initial D hasn't aged well and Steep Slope sliders is really basic but it's OK. I love the cheesy Japanese-English songs.

Yes. I had it shipped to EU. I never got a shipping confirmation but it arrived in 9 days, so I really can't complain.

The leather feels very good. I think I finally found a wallet I'm happy with.

Gaming RuleZ!

Got me a nice 47" LG TV just for PS4!
No 3D No Smart TV, just basic 1080p IPS LED ;-)

Also, got an LG G3 for my mom, Gold.

Awesome device, I really prefer LG Androids over other Androids!
But as a G2 owner, I don't see myself upgrading, not much difference, I also prefer the size of the G2, and I can't see a difference between both displays (1080p VS 2K).
Overkill in my opinion + much more expensive, you could get a brand new G2 for dirt cheap nowadays, a Bargain

Famicom Everdrive N8

Man, it feels really nice not having to drag out the old Famicom Disk system to play games (also saves on wear and tear on the Famicom disk drive belt). I still have to drag out my Gimmick! and Akumajou Densetsu carts though, because the sound channels are kind of messed up on those two games. Hopefully, a firmware update with fix that in the future.

New family PC for downstairs to replace a 2008 Core2Duo with a 2006 17 inch screen.

A8 6600k, 8GB 1600Mhz Kingston HyperX, Samsung Evo 840 SSD, 24 inch Acer screen and a Logitech MK520 wireless combo. Nothing special, but it'll do the job it's intended for and play some light indie games.



Technically I got these some time ago, but I only got around to hanging them today. Pretty happy with the results ^_^

Now my 3DS is dead and won't be getting replaced I've decided to expand my DS collection. all the second hand Lites I saw looked pretty grim so I treated myself to this new DSi. It's so lovely! The matte finish is great and the size is perfect. Also came with my first Pokemans game:

The following are mostly crap but an eBay collection I paid £11 for. I've always wanted Daigasso Band Brothers so I bought it for that then noticed after I bought it that Wish Room is Hotel Dusk. Score! The tennis and football management games might be interesting too and he included 8 unboxed and legit GBA games including Pokemon Sapphire so that might tip me into getting a GB Micro next month. Argh,

Great day yard saling for me. I won't bore you with all the random audio equipment I bought but I will leave you with these three pictures.

First up, I found this JVC Pro Studio Monitor and I heard that these have a great picture for gaming, it's tiny at only 9" but for a dollar how could I argue, and really what are the chances of finding these in the wild. Hard to get a great shot but heres two quick pics. Thing is heavy as hell.

Second, I think this picture speaks for itself, peaked into the box and saw that one gem and asked how much for the box, they said $5 for all so I just took it all. I'll be holding on to that one for a while. This was actually the first sale I stopped at and the only one that hand anything decent gaming.
