Here are some of my favorite pickups of 2012 ! (Most likely in chronological order starting from most recent...)

I went to Singapore this year (for the first time). Two awesome gals got me these gifts.. One is a notebook with Singlish words and the other is a book I have yet to read. These have more of a special meaning to me than anything and is a constant reminder that the world has great people...

A nice pickup was being able to continue working with Capcom to create this.. In collaboration with Sanrio, of course. <3

With all the travel I do throughout the year, I was really happy to be able to take my daughter with me to Tokyo earlier this year. We had a great time and we plan on going every year now

I grew up on Masters of the Universe. I was so happy to be able to get one of these. <3

I also love TEKKEN, like no other. This is my new favorite hooded sweatshirt.

The TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 Arcade FightStick TE S+ from Mad Catz. I've been wanting to work on one of these since 2008 when we were working on the original SFIV line of products. This has been a dream for me and by far my proudest work achievement of 2012. Also proud to pickup the girl lol.

More TEKKEN stuff. Man, I love this Mokujin poster. Thanks Namco Bandai Europe!

The main man behind TEKKEN (Katsuhiro Harada) gave me these as a gift at Comic-Con this year. I was overjoyed!

At EVO 2012 we debuted the official EVO FightStick. The one above is my personal one, all tricked out. I love the gaming community (I came from it) so working on this has been a very nice experience.

Also from EVO 2012. I got an EVO baseball jersey with my name personalized!

Two of my favorite arcade sticks that were released this year. The Gundam one and VLX Diamond ! <3

I got a lot of nice things for the holidays from my parents for the holidays=)

First off is another peanuts collection. I now have about 26 years of them. Another few years and i'll have the entire run!

I grabbed two copies of the last issue of nintendo power. One of which i opened and read, the other one i'll leave in the bag. My father even took the poster and framed it =)

Some handheld games... Adore the vita. Already played through uncharted and gravity rush using playstation plus. I'll start persona next semester. Can't wait!

The "last" issue of spiderman and some books that I need to study for the FE exam =/

Here's hoping I can get a job before I graduate so i can contribute more in the upcoming year!

My favorite thing I bought recently is probably a tie between my Vita and this huge Supernatural coffee table book. It's got all kinds of goodies inside like bumper stickers and postcards and even one of those tree-shaped air fresheners. XD

Here's my Steam sale purchases. Not too much spent! Actually got Dead Island and Scribblenauts Unlimited steam codes from Amazon 'cause they were cheaper there. I received Sonic Generations, Spirits and The Binding of Isaac also as gifts.

Picked up 31 games and some DLC during the Steam sale total cost was £110/$178.63 for 31 games that's £3.54/5.76 per game, not bad:

Went on the hunt for Super Metroid and Secret of Mana today. Sadly two of the three places I wanted to go to were closed for New Years, so no luck on either one. Got a pretty good haul though:

Got that all for $45 which isn't bad at all. Lesson on how ebay has gone to shit for this kind of stuff, I just priced this all on there using buy it now and the cheapest ones came out to $116.15.

My $45 also included two other sports games that I bought just to replace the backs of Ys 3 and Mega Man X 'cause they were covered in stickers and discolored. Place also had a Castlevania 3 for only $10, but someone had written their name on the front with permanent marker. Same with Super Empire Strikes Back, so my trilogy isn't complete.

Did you use the set's game mode or have an AVR hooked up? Both need to be set to game mode to eliminate input latency. If you have an AVR that has a video processor it absolutely needs to be set to game mode or disabled entirely, especially on Demon, Marantz and Onkyo AVR's.

I've encountered no issues and there's no reports of input latency on the avsforum. I'm using the set mainly for movies and my 55" HX929 for gaming.

Once I get a job, I plan on getting copies of the Pokemon special manga. Loved them as a kid. Read up to the ruby and sapphire arch. Very nice! If you don't mind me asking, how much we're all these?

Already had the digital version of Just Cause 2, but wanted a physical copy as well. Also, I'm a sucker for tins so I picked up the Sherlock Holmes blu-rays on sale for 10 bucks each. Plus, I haven't seen them yet.
